There are many different coordinate systems. Examples include
Cartesian coordinates, Cylindrical coordinates, Spherical coordinates,
Parabolic coordinates, Elliptical coordinates, Polar coordinates, etc,
but also Bipolar coordinates. There also are several Geometric systems
such as Euclidean, Reimannian, and Lobachevskyan, and others. This may
support an extended view of Paganism. As there are infinite numbers of
different systems of logic, many not compatible with eachother, there
also are an infinite different systems of rhetoric. Thus there may be
a large number of different theories of art.
Paganism might be viewed as the beginnings of an attempt to understand
and describe natural phenomena. However, many kinds of Paganism might
be possible. Thus if our world consisted of a binary star system, a world
where there were two "suns", perhaps rather than a monotheistic view,
perhaps a bitheistic view might be a natural paganism? In such a world,
Bipolar coordinates might seem natural? In such a bitheistic world, rather
than creating an art using Euclidean (linear) perspective, a Reimannian
(non-linear) perspective would seem more rational?
If a god resided in someting like a Black hole (this need not imply a
materialistic view), then god's spirit might not be something that could
be communicated?
Our theistic conceptions and our views of science are not independent.
Perhaps our views are Pagan, after all.

Leonardo da Vinci's "The Last Supper" in Polar coordinates, with non-linear perspective.
Leonardo da Vinci's "The Last Supper" in Polar coordinates may not be as
effective from the viewpoint of Alberti's rhetoric tacens as it is in
Euclidean coordinates.
