In this dance, a man moves from right to left
around half a circle, while his female partner
moves from left to right around half a circle.
They have effectively exchanged positions. Then
the partners can repeat this, making a 360 degree
circuit back to their original positions. Each
partner then can dance away from the circle in
opposite directions, or as an alternative, the
partners can dance twords each other along the
diameter of the circle. Effectively, this
choreography copies the straight lines or circles
found in gardens.
